UsefulTools to Debut Call Center Agent Platform

UsefulTools, Inc., a Miami-based technology startup, will be debuting its new online service this September at TechCrunch Disrupt Conference in San Francisco.

The company has developed a turnkey platform providing small businesses, marketers and software developers with access to over 100,000 call center agents operating in 46 call centers. The software as a service (SaaS) allows businesses to create agent scripts and launch live answering solutions in under 60 seconds for as little as  50 cents per minute.

UsefulTools, which launched in private beta in June 2013 with a few call center suppliers, is now processing over 10,000 inbound calls a day on their platform. The company has since expanded its call center network to provide additional agent pools that include U.S. and international agents as well as specialized skillsets and bilingual agents. UsefulTools customers range from marketers who need the phone to be answered for a weekend sales event to small businesses looking to enhance their customer service with a live person answering the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The cost of UsefulTools' services vary depending on the agent skillset required by each customer, but unlike traditional call center models, which require large monthly minimum financial commitments, it will offer a variety of pricing packages for businesses of all sizes and specialties.

The UsefulTools communications engine is powered by Twilio and was recently accepted into their exclusive SIP beta program expanding their current answering solution capabilities. In addition to providing access to a huge network of call center agents, the company also provides integrated communication tools, which include integrations with Google Analytics, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Facebook and several other third party platforms.
