PCI Pal, providers of an engagement platform for payments and customer interactions, has launched a native Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server capability, delivering a vendor-agnostic security layer purpose-built for agentic artificial intelligence.
Integrated into PCI Pal's cloud platform, this update enables organizations to connect large language models like Claude or ChatGPT to transactional capabilities while keeping sensitive payment data completely isolated from the AI model. Security and IT leaders can enable autonomous workflows across voice, chat, and digital channels without expanding their PCI-DSS attack surface or locking themselves into a single AI vendor.
Through its MCP Server, PCI Pal enables conversational AI platforms and AI agents to invoke its payment capabilities through a standardized framework, simplifying integration while maintaining essential security and compliance safeguards.
