Unimax Adds Compatibility for Cisco Contact Centers and Polycom Phones



Unimax, a provider of unified communications (UC) management software, has announced that its unified UC and voice system administration product, 2nd Nature, is now compatible with Cisco's contact centers and Polycom phones.

2nd Nature enables organizations and managed service providers to unify the provisioning and management of their UC, PBX, voice messaging, and other critical business systems by providing a single, centralized management and administration interface. Unimax also announced the same expanded system compatibility for the other products in its UC management software suite.

"Our ongoing efforts to expand the number of systems we integrate with is an important part of helping our customers meet their UC management needs," said Phil Moen, Unimax's president and CEO, in a statement. "Adding compatibility for Cisco UCCE, UCCX, and Polycom phones will enable organizations to quickly and easily provision and de-provision these assets while managing all associated moves, adds, changes, and deletes (MACDs) from the same 2nd Nature unified administration interface used to manage the other UC, PBX, and voicemail systems in the environment. This enables an organization to significantly reduce the amount of time and expense otherwise needed to manage Cisco UCCE, UCCX, and Polycom phones in separate silos."
