LiveOps’ Marty Beard Steps Down as CEO

LiveOps today announced an interim leadership change in which LiveOps’ senior vice president of cloud application sales, Vasili Triant, has assumed the role of CEO, replacing Marty Beard, effective immediately.

Triant brings experience to his new role as acting CEO as a nearly 20-year customer service and telecommunications veteran. During his tenure at LiveOps he has driven more than 50 percent average annual growth of the cloud platform business. Prior to LiveOps, Triant spent nearly a decade at the helm of the ShoreTel Asia Pacific sales and contact center practice. Triant also founded and led EvVolv Technologies, an IP telephony solutions provider that designed and implemented solutions around the Cisco, Mitel and ShoreTel platforms.

"On behalf of the LiveOps, I want to thank Marty for his leadership and commitment to LiveOps," said Triant, in a statement. “Marty joined LiveOps three years ago with a stated mission to transform the organization and establish leadership in the cloud customer service market segment. Since then, we’ve made tremendous progress in our strategy to become the ‘category killer’ in cloud customer service and now have a thriving cloud platform business to accompany our traditional agent services business. I’m excited to assume the role of interim CEO as we take the next step in transforming the future of the contact center and of customer service.”
