Kronos' Adds Vocantas Communicate to Workforce Dimensions



Kronos has embedded Vocantas' Communicate solution into its Workforce Dimensions cloud-based workforce management solution, enabling employee inbound absence reporting, outbound automated shift call outs, and emergency notifications.

With this integration, Vocantas is linking its multimodal communications with text, interactive voice response (IVR), and email capabilities directly into and out of Workforce Dimensions. Now employees running late or too sick to come to work can text, call, or email directly into Workforce Dimensions. Workforce Dimensions updates in real time and alerts the manager so the unplanned absence can be immediately back-filled. Schedulers can, with one click, text, phone, and email employees that might want to pick up an extra shift.

The Vocantas-enabled Workforce Dimensions solution also offers personalization and employee control over how they receive and respond to shift offers; using the employee portal, employees set their contact preferences by time of day and preferred means of contact.
