Conversocial Integrates Instagram Into Social Media Platform

Social customer service vendor, Conversocial, said it is integrating another social channel, Instagram, into its platform. The integration demonstrates the importance for brands to not only engage with consumers over the platform through sharing content, but also respond to any comments or questions posted by consumers, the company said.

Instagram joins Facebook, Google+, Twitter and YouTube as a network that can be managed through Conversocial’s intelligent workflow. The integration will enable brands to prioritize content using Conversocial’s Prioritization Engine and allow managers to ensure quality control across all brand responses using the tool’s Approval Workflow. Managers are also able to understand volume, trends, key customer service metrics – such as first response time and average handling time – using Conversocial’s advanced customer service analytics and dashboard.

“It’s been exciting to watch Instagram’s rise as a dominant social community, and its subsequent rise as a powerful platform for consumers to engage with brands and retailers, especially in fashion and leisure,” said Conversocial founder and CEO Joshua March, in a statement. “We’re excited to help our clients respond to the huge volumes of Instagram engagement they’re receiving.”
