Clarity Contact Center Offering Supports Skype for Business 2015

Clarity Consulting, a software development firm with a strategic focus on creating software solutions native to Skype for Business (formerly Lync) has announced the current version of Clarity Connect, its contact center product, will support Skype for Business Server 2015.

The company says it had the first contact center product to natively use Microsoft's unified communication platform. By leveraging the Skype developer platform to integrate with Skye for Business and continuing its fully native approach, Clarity Connect will provide a seamless user experience with a zero client footprint either as part of an on-premise deploy of Skype for Business or as a part of a hosted offering through one of Clarity's partners.

"The message we hear from CIOs and CFOs is clear," said Jon Rauschenberger, CIO, Clarity Consulting, in a statement. "They are looking to move toward a simple and cost effective way of managing multichannel communication from their customers. A larger and ever-increasing number of companies are looking for a solution that fully leverages their current investment in Lync and eventual transition to Skype for Business."

"Customers want to know their contact center vendor's investment in Skype for Business is as strategic as their own. In Clarity Connect, they get a product where R&D, support, and implementation start and end with creating a great experience for our customers who are using Skype for Business and Office 365."

As a single software product, Clarity Connect's set of functionality, including IVR, ACD, IM routing, Web chat, and email routing, can be enabled as stand-alone features or configured to manage a multichannel contact center as customers transition from legacy-based systems and onto Skype for Business.

"Our customer base ranges from Fortune 10 companies that have global and complex contact centers to small businesses that simply want to add enhanced routing for Instant Messages within their organization," said Craig Reishus, director, business development, Clarity, in a statement.

This flexible approach allows customers of all sizes to take full advantage of both Skype for Business and Clarity Connect.
