CallVU Selected for Avaya DevConnect Program

CallVU, a provider of visual customer engagement solutions, has been selected for membership as a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program.

The CallVU Mobile Digital Engagement Platform augments basic phone calls with rich digital media to help improve self-service and enable real time customer-agent collaboration. As a DevConnect Technology Partner, CallVU expects to deliver proven interoperability of its solutions with the Avaya customer engagement and mobility portfolios, so that companies can integrate new engagement plug-ins from CallVU into their Avaya infrastructure.

The Avaya DevConnect program promotes the development, compliance-testing, and co-marketing of third-party solutions that are compatible with standards-based Avaya solutions. It currently includes thousands of software and hardware developers, integrators, service providers, and customers. Members have created a broad array of solutions tested for Avaya compliance, including natural language speech recognition applications, mobile and emergency notification services, specialized computer telephony integration and reporting capabilities, and applications tailored for specific vertical industries.

Through the DevConnect program, Avaya provides companies with a wide range of technical education, access and support for many Avaya platforms and interfaces, often at no cost to registered members. Technology Partners receive in-depth compliance testing and co-marketing support, based on their alignment with Avaya strategy and value offered to Avaya customers. DevConnect Technology Partners like CallVU must meet rigorous criteria for customer satisfaction, product support, business operations, marketing, and sales.

"Membership in the Avaya developer community will help us improve our product offerings and serve customers more efficiently and effectively," said Ori Faran, CEO of CallVU, in a statement. "Working with Avaya gives CallVU an opportunity to offer customers a compliance-tested solution that leverages their existing Avaya platforms and investments to help improve ROI and cost of ownership."

"Technology partners like CallVU are helping Avaya build our ecosystem of DevConnect compliant solutions," said Eric Rossman, vice president of developer relations at Avaya, in a statement. "This helps provide Avaya customers with access to the solutions that meet their needs, which they can deploy with confidence."
