Unbabel Launches Translation-as-a-Service for Microsoft Dynamics 365

Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Service users can now integrate translation directly into their workflows with Unbabel's new Translation-as-a-Service solution. The solution is available in the Microsoft AppSource and can translate messages going in and out of Dynamics 365 through a combination of artificial intelligence and a network of 50,000 human translators.

Unbabel's fully integrated translation platform incorporates domain-adapted Neural Machine Translation, Quality Estimation, and a global community of tens of thousands of linguists who post-edit content until it sounds just right.

Users of Dynamics 365 for Customer Service can install Unbabel's solution through the AppSource Marketplace and provide translation for their agents with the press of a button.

"We believe Translation as a Service should be embedded directly in the tools and workflows used by fast-growing businesses and enterprises every day. It shouldn't be this thing that is just another step in the process. It should be built directly in," Vasco Pedro, co-founder and CEO of Unbabel, said in a blog post. "When we're successful, for most people in the world, translation will effectively disappear."

"Given the continued growth of Dynamics 365 for Customer Service, Microsoft has been seeking out innovative partner solutions from around the world. Unbabel is an excellent example of a blended AI and gig-economy model that will help both our fastest-growing and largest enterprise clients," said Sona Vaish Venkat, general manager of intelligent SaaS at Microsoft, in a statement. "Removing language as a barrier to success is critical in this new connected global market, and we are excited to empower customer service agents to provide exceptional service in all languages, everywhere."

Today's announcement continues the collaboration between Unbabel and Microsoft. Unbabel participated in Microsoft ScaleUp (formally Microsoft Accelerator) and received funding in its recent Series B from M12 (formally Microsoft Ventures).

The growing Unbabel Marketplace now offers dozens of integrations across marketing tools like Wordpress, Marketo, and Adobe Experience Manager, as well as other customer-focused products, such as Salesforce, Zendesk, and Helpscout.
